Raindrops falling on my head
Many months ago I was trapped under The Bank of Ireland columned canopy thanks to the lashing rains of a late October afternoon. I had nothing better to do --- hubster had decided his latest download of This American Life would be more entertaining than keeping me company with some lethargic conversation to keep the strangers' eavesdropping at bay.
While standing under the makeshift shelter with nothing better to do, I decided to take out the trusty old camera and just start taking shots of the very few wise souls that had taken umbrellas with them on that day.
We stood under the canopy for close to a full hour. These shots are of all the people that were prepared for the wet close to that Autumn afternoon.

Overall, a very drab and wet day with a few and very welcomed splashes of colour.

Today is one of those days, more than a year down the line. Funny how life continues to recycle itself. Happy Tuesday to all.

One of the things I seriously miss from Germany + our life there is some of the quality programming on tv. I know, quite sad to be missing particular shows or channels, but then again, can you blame a fool such as I am? I thrive on classy cultural enterntainment and ARTE was the nectar to quench that thirst.
