I am the world's best

at procrastinating, that is.  You know, I started this little spot in hopes of exercising my writing and to showcase some of my attempts at photography.  Unfortunately for me, and all of you that may find it hard to stay on task like myself, this whole notion that one can stay glued to a computer so that you can tell the world what you just had, or didn't have. for breakfast, can be quite a pain to deal with!
Now, I am not trying to beat myself up here, but I also have to be honest with you and most importantly, with myself.
So what have I been doing that is so damn important and so much better than logging into this thing on a daily or weekly basis?  Nothing really.  But hey, the mundane to me might be quite an eye-opening experience to some and the other way around.
I am rambling now.  Let me cut to the chase:

I went to the US and Puerto Rico
I traveled with my husband
I traveled with a garden gnome
I ate too much
I wrote some stuff for work
I got published in The Guardian (if only this happened more often!)
I came back to Ireland
I've played in my garden
So now what?  Oh, you want proof, right?  Okay, some snap shots your way:
Here is an obsessive angle of mine.  I like blurring out the foreground and the background.  Not sure if this is worth a thing, but it is one of my favorite shots.  The place? Castillo San Cristobal, San Juán, Puerto Rico.
